Public Hearing Notice: Proposed Sewer User Charge Update

The City of Peshtigo Common Council will hold a public hearing to consider proposed Ordinance No. 2026-06, which would amend Section 46-163 of the City Code to update sewer user charges.

Under the proposed ordinance, sewer customers would continue to be billed quarterly through a combination of fixed and usage-based charges. For general customers with a standard 5/8-inch meter, the proposed quarterly fixed charge is $49.29, with an additional volume charge of $11.97 per 1,000 gallons of metered water used. The ordinance also includes updated charges for other meter sizes, Class C customers, and wastewater haulers.

The Common Council will receive public comments regarding the proposed charges during the hearing before considering action on the ordinance.
